Yes, tonight was a great workout! We missed Scott, red team trainer tonight but Mike and Kayla made sure we didn’t slack! We started off by doing a 1/2 mile on a treadmill or elliptical machine as fast as we could, then off to do 30 hip lifts, then 30 burpees, jog to the room and do thirty arm curls, and 30 arm lifts both with weights, then to kick and punch the bag 60 times each, and off to do another 1/2 mile and do it all again, except the third and fourth round was 1 mile on the machines and then followed by all the other activities! I kinda wish we did the mile first as I jogged both 1/2 miles but by the time I got to do the mile I thought I might collapse so I walked and jogged as much as I could. I weighed in at the end of workout and well the numbers hopefully are inaccurate as to what they will be tomorrow as it said I was a pound over – NO WAY! So I will keep you posted after the weigh in tomorrow as the truth is revealed!
GREAT news! I was able to do all the burpees tonight! Of course I still don’t jump out so I am quite slow while doing them and cautious not to strain my abs – but yes, I am feeling so much better and am so thankful! I was starting to fear that I wouldn’t be able to do a full work out this whole season but the road of recovery is in full blast and I know it won’t be long and there will be no twinge of pain anymore! Praise God for answered prayer!
